Are all CSS / HTML codes for layouts all formatted the same? for example...?

Are they all formatted the same?

For example, when I use a myspace layout, do they place the text color / background / side scroll bar coding all in the same place? Or does it not matter? I'm sorry my question might seem a little confusing, I'm sort of confused on how to ask.

I'm basically wondering this because I'm learning how to make layouts / HTML, and if I used some code from a different layout, would they be able to tell that I used it- or are they all set up the same way? I'm basically taking some to help me learn and set up my own codes since I don't have a book to learn out of or a teacher to teach me. Thanks!

There is a few kinds of myspace layouts and they all have different css structure.

Here is a few examples:

Default layout/regular: http://www.myspaceus.net/layouts/preview...

is when the layout is the same regular layout just with an added background.

Then there is a Myspace Layout that Most people know:

Usualy has custom background, contact box, and netwrok banner.

There is also skinny layouts: http://www.myspacelayoutshome.com/layout...

they are much smaller than most layouts.

If you want to experiment on making a layout , just use this:

http://www.myspaceus.net/generators/mysp...

it is a basic myspace layout generator which will generate a code for you of the layout you made.

Hope this helps you.
Reply:Actually, it depends on what kind of layout you prefer. You change the codes or edit them I mean. Then the site either creates a preview of the page you created or they themselves create the adjustments for the layout to be applicable in your page. You just click here and there, try to experiment what will come out of what you've created. Just try!
