So I want to start making myspace layouts %26amp; I have a few made but I dont know how I can get a preview for people like all the other layout sites do. I just started so please anyone with a layout site or with experience your help is greatly needed =] thanks for any help you can give!! ♥

hey! i too have a site! to get a preview you should probably create another account and call it layout tester! and put the layout code that you made in the about me; save it; and view profile; then on you keyboard there should be a button called "prt scr" something like that and keep it pushed for about 3 seconds after that open paint; paste it in paint; save it; you need to have either a photobucket or tinypic account upload it there and put the pic code in your blog; keep repeating the process for all yur layouts :)) hope that helped

How can I create my own profile layout? I know there are sites where I can just take their layouts, but I want to try making my own.

All you have to do is learn HTML and CSS, do some Photoshopping or graphics work and then make your own layout.
Take a layout from online and copy it, then, take it apart and try to put it back together. that's how some people learn.
I learned web design years ago by doing this.

Mark Ruffalo Myspace Layouts?
Has anyone seen any layouts of him? I have been to numerous sites and have even done a search and still can't find even one. Someone told me that www.freeweblayouts.net had one, yeah well I searched and didn't find one. If there is one there, please give me the link. But I honestly don't think that site has any. Or if anyone knows of 13 Going on 30 or Just Like Heaven layouts, which I have also searched with no luck, I wouldn't mind one of either, with him on it of course.

That's quite an unusual question. Most shopping malls really aren't one floor anymore. Most malls have two floors that are simply spanned across a square footage of well over 50,000 feet.
It's also very difficult to get your hands on these type of plans, unless of course you know someone or work for someone who designs malls or works with one who does such. If you are looking to design one yourself, you should look into drafting and design categories. It's also illegal to actually release these blueprints to the public unless you are a safety inspector, public official - like a code inspector or fire marshal, or you work with the company or firm that designed these set of plans.

I have never seen a mall that segregates merchants by specialty - say men's clothing or sporting goods all in one area - accept that "food courts" have come to replace the gourmet pretzel and cookie shops that use to be scattered around the mall.

Solid colored default layouts?

Non tiled Myspace layouts??
I USE A GENERATOR TO MAKE MY LAYOUTS AND IT DOESNT MATTER IF I USE THE TILE OR NO TILE OPTION IT STILL TILES THE BACKGROUND. Ok, I know there are millions of layout sites to make your myspace custom looking but I want something different. I like the layouts at lovemyflash.com but was wondering if there are any as good as they are. I have been searching everywhere. How do you put layouts that you made yourself on your blog?
ok i juss made a new myspace page, and i juss started makin layouts, i tried to put my layouts on my blog but it wont show up..how do you put up the code for people to copy, and how do you make a link to preview the layout?

go to www.imageshack.us and upload your picture. take the link they provide you (the one that includes the picture AND the link) and add it to your blog.

At this time I don't know of any layout generator that performs an all in one like you are talking about. Myspace is very time consuming and fun, but can also be aggravating trying to get that perfect profile layout...have fun.

What Format do I save them in?

How do I design layouts for myspace and make it easy to save layouts on my website for anyone to use?
All those programs you have will come in handy to design you actual website. Photoshop is good to help you edit your backgrounds which you use for your layouts. However, the actual layout must be written in code. Which means you will need to learn html coding. It is best to learn the code yourself, it is easy! instead of trying to design in a program. I save my codes in microsoft word to put on my website, but other people use everything from notepad to advanced programming software, it will give you the same result.
Finally there are copyright issued with cartoons and such, however, chances are unless you start pulling in millions of dollars no one will do anything. I do not recommend using any copy writed materials. There are many sites on the internet that sell pictures, cartoons, etc that you can buy at a low price, this is the best way to go.

I know alot of people who make their own layouts. I want to knwo what type of program I would need to do that and which would you consider is the best? I do not really care for pre-made layouts and I want to make my own. Please help!

below is a list of sites for layouts, graphics, codes, etc. the layouts are usually divided up into categories. once you find a layout you like follow these steps:
1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")
2. copy the code.
3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.
4. paste the code that you copied into your "about me" section.
5. save that and then view your profile and your new layout should be up.

go to your profile with the layout you want people to see. press the print screen key on your keyboard. open paint and paste the screenshot you took, and save it in on your computer in jpg format someplace you can find it again.
go to www.imageshack.us and upload your picture. take the link they provide you (the one that includes the picture AND the link) and add it to your blog.

Like the ones that have a bright green or pink background, with no picture or words on the background, and white around the text anf the columns are squeezed together? Get what I'm saying? I've already tried google and making my oun layouts, but they both apparantly don't understand what I'm looking for. Don't recommend some kind of layout maker because I've about had it with them. Making Money with Myspace Layouts?
So a while ago I read an article about the girl who made www.whateverlife.com, a Myspace layouts website, and how she's made thousands of dollars through it with advertising.
I know how to write code for Myspace layouts and know HTML/CSS well. I'm also pretty nifty with Photoshop.
So what I'm asking is, do you think I should take a shot at trying to make my own Myspace layouts website? Would you have any advice for me?

first, you should make some layouts and see if you have a chance and if people like your layouts, you should do that by makeing a website for free and have LOTS of different layouts to choose from and other stuff too. then have a way to send in what they think of your layouts if they do like them go aheaad and go for it if people dont like it then make new and different layouts and also ask peiople what they want in their layouts(requests for layouts) but dont give up keep on trying and u should make a myspace for your layouts because thats ow people can find you easily so you are sure to get many responses

Reply:well, why not take a shot at it there really isnt much to lose, except maybe a couple dollars for the hoster of the site but hey why not.. just look around on other peopl's profiles and look at the layout fads , because they always change you kow ... like right now its skinny deaults and just make your site ae a variety of types. like i hate it when i go to a site with just the cartoony looking ones.. but anyay good luck hope you make miilions like the whateverlife girl =)

Reply:Go for it. I cant see there being a lose for you here. Sure make a bunch of layouts and get some good advertisments but you can also expand the site to more things then just Layouts.

I know how to write code for Myspace layouts and know HTML/CSS well. I'm also pretty nifty with Photoshop.
So what I'm asking is, do you think I should take a shot at trying to make my own Myspace layouts website? Would you have any advice for me?

first, you should make some layouts and see if you have a chance and if people like your layouts, you should do that by makeing a website for free and have LOTS of different layouts to choose from and other stuff too. then have a way to send in what they think of your layouts if they do like them go aheaad and go for it if people dont like it then make new and different layouts and also ask peiople what they want in their layouts(requests for layouts) but dont give up keep on trying and u should make a myspace for your layouts because thats ow people can find you easily so you are sure to get many responses
