What are the layouts of shopping malls?

I need to now what are those layouts, I needs any layouts of one floor shopping mall.

That's quite an unusual question. Most shopping malls really aren't one floor anymore. Most malls have two floors that are simply spanned across a square footage of well over 50,000 feet.





It's also very difficult to get your hands on these type of plans, unless of course you know someone or work for someone who designs malls or works with one who does such. If you are looking to design one yourself, you should look into drafting and design categories. It's also illegal to actually release these blueprints to the public unless you are a safety inspector, public official - like a code inspector or fire marshal, or you work with the company or firm that designed these set of plans.

Reply:I don't really understand your request but from a consumer standpoint the larger or "magnet" retailers are located at the corners or the ends. Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstroms. More upscale malls have Neimen Marcus, Saks 5th Ave. They always occupy the bigger more visible corner or end locations. I have never seen a mall that segregates merchants by specialty - say men's clothing or sporting goods all in one area - accept that "food courts" have come to replace the gourmet pretzel and cookie shops that use to be scattered around the mall.
Reply:So why don't you take your digital camera, go to your nearest shopping mall, stand infront of the "Information" display (which always has a floor plan), and take a photo.....
